The Coming of Kali

I have a number of spirit guides who work with me, both when I teach and when I give readings.  From time to time new emanations of Spirit join 'the team' in order to work with me too.  I say 'new emanations' because, ultimately my sense is that we all emanate from Spirit and that the closer one draws to The Source, the more refined are the spirits who interact with us, being themselves more obviously extensions of the Ultimate Divine Intelligence. Indeed, my sense is that many 'new' guides who present themselves to me are, in fact, in reality, different manifestations of the same Supreme Entity, which, ultimately, means they're all manifestations of the Source, meeting me in ways that I can understand and to which I can more easily relate.  Let me give you an example.  The first guide who presented herself to me (in a miraculous way, which I've recounted in one of my early videos) was a being called Aurora (a feminine energy).  She was soon joined by Morning Star (a masculine energy).  As time progressed I began to become more aware of additional guides and ancestors working with me. Primarily, I now understand, although I have several masculine guides working with me, the dominant energy is feminine: indeed, Aurora, I understand, is a manifestation of the Divine Feminine in a particular form (in this case, the Goddess of the Dawn).  Aurora is also called Eos (the Greek version of the name Aurora), which, by the way, is why we called our training company 'Eos Seminars Ltd'... we named our company after a form of the Divine Creatrix in recognition of her presence.  Sometimes the form that Aurora has presented to me has shifted or 'morphed' and as a result she's begun to appear to me in different guises.  When this happens I understand that although her outer appearance may have changed (temporarily) she is still, nevertheless, in essence the same Divine being.  On other occasions the Divine Creatrix will present herself to me in the form of another goddess entirely, often, perhaps, to express certain teachings or attributes to me which are associated with these facets of her Divine character.

Along with the obvious spirit communication that takes place during psychic/mediumship readings (as evidenced by others on this website), I also communicate regularly with the Divine by going on shamanic journeys to the Spirit Realm where I receive insights... and undergo various experiences (it was during such journeys that the spirit world first began to develop my faith in my ability to communicate with Spirit, by telling me about future world news events, in advance of them happening, as described in some of my videos).  The spirit world comes to me in dreams too, to lead me further on the journey in which I (along with everyone else, to one degree or another, ultimately), am engaged: the process of spiritual evolution.

Recently I was led, first in dream and then while on a shamanic journey to meet the Divine Creatrix in another form.  The form of Kali: The Dark Mother.  The goddess who's associated with the dissolution of outmoded beliefs, the Mother Goddess who causes us to see the world for what it really is, rather than what we delude ourselves to believe it to be.  She appeared to me soon after I underwent a tumultuous 'wake up' call experience, in which I was led to question the very fabric of my indoctrinated belief in an All-powerful God of Love who is (or, perhaps, is not) acutely involved the day to day lives of we who live on Earth.  The obvious began to stare me in the face.  The world is full of suffering! Now, of course, it wasn't that I'd not noticed this before: indeed, I was inspired by my guides in many of my early videos to address the problems and challenges of our world, because of the suffering that continues to occur - on a moment by moment basis.  But, somehow, in amongst all of the obvious evidence of:

(1) the suffering,

(2) the goodness evidenced by many people,

(3) the wickedness evidenced by many other people,

(4) (perhaps most important) the evidence for the existence of the realm of spirit, and...

(5) the mismatch between my belief in an All Powerful Creator God of Love and the question this raised regarding why such a hypothetical being would allow, such horrendous events to occur; such as psychopaths who kill children, not once, but more times than we can count, and wars in which millions of people die, and dictatorships which kill thousands, sometimes millions of their own citizens, and a natural world which, basically involves the 'survival of the fittest' the result of which means that, sadly, most animals can expect to die (often in extreme pain) in order to become another animal's food supply, I'd still clung onto this outmoded, unsustainable (to my mind) belief.

I suppose, like most everyone else who believes in an All Powerful God of Love I had somehow 'swept under the carpet', psychologically speaking (perhaps as a result of the phenomenon of cognitive dissonance), the glaring evidence that indicates that either:

(1) if God exists, God is not All Powerful (in the commonly understood sense of the expression), or,

(2) if God exists, God is not a God of Love, in the way we understand the meaning of the word Love, because surely no All Powerful Loving Being could stand back and allow innocent children to be brutally killed by the most wicked of human beings, nor surely would a Being who embodied Love and All Power design a natural world that had suffering hard-wired into it, would He?

I re-considered Darwin.  In many ways evolution, along with the aforementioned 'survival of the fittest' hypothesis seems to more accurately describe our world: a world full of people with mixed intentions, and an animal kingdom in which the strongest beasts, with the sharpest teeth and claws rule: while those less endowed become (after much suffering) dinner.  But Darwin, doesn't appear to address the existence of a spirit realm, so Darwin's theory of evolution, to my mind, cannot offer a complete answer.

This process of questioning was charged by my second 'great' delving into the accuracy (or not) of received religious dogma, particularly in the context of Christianity and the substance of the Bible.  My first such in-depth study occurred about 20 years ago.  This time the work of Professor Bart D Ehrman and Dr Francesca Stavrakopoulou added to my understanding and with it the last vestiges of my childhood belief regarding the nature of Deity crumbled (mercifully) away, and with it came the newfound ability to ask searching questions and the gift of being able to look at the reality of the world around me, un-blinkered, at last. This process was coupled with my own clear evidence of the existence of the spirit world.  As a result I was led to begin to search for better meaning in a world that, hitherto, did not make sense, when based on my prior premise of an All-powerful God of Love, who was, supposedly, in charge of things (which included allowing the murder of children). And so came Kali.

When I first met Kali I recoiled.  My Western mind had been led to perceive Kali as being 'evil'. (Although, as I write, I notice how I used to ignore the atrocities committed by elements of the established Christian Church, just as many others continue to do today, which indicates a powerful socially conditioned set of 'double standards' and a socially conditioned 'demonization' of that which isn't understood.  A process which established religion of all kinds continues to do regarding spirituality which thinks differently from received dogma.)  As I recoiled (I didn't want to associate with an 'evil' spirit), I looked to my established spirit guides for guidance  Surprisingly they told me that I should enter into a relationship with Kali. Based on the trust I have for my established guides which has been developed over many years, in faith, as Kali met me, I welcomed her.  And I learned that Kali is, in fact, a force for good!  She had (like so many others) been demonized by her (Western) detractors. Indeed, the mythology that surrounds Kali includes a story about how it was she who saved the Gods from an army of demons - by destroying them all. Sometimes Love involves using overwhelming force. A force I experienced in my own life, albeit in other ways.  Kali slew the 'demons' of my received group-mind delusion: She accelerated the process of awakening in me, by helping me to gain my freedom from the shackles of received indoctrination regarding the nature of Deity... and now she continues to encourage me to be bold enough to ask challenging questions and to be firm enough to live free of the need to subscribe to neatly packaged belief systems, which, when tested, don't stack up - because they mismatch the reality of the evidence of the world in which we live.

What's more, naturally, this awakening means I must apply this principle to the myths associated with Kali as well.  Are the myths of Kali accurate descriptions of events that occurred in the Heavenly Realm?: perhaps, but perhaps not.  However, I must also ask, based on the evidence, does a Spirit Realm exist, and does a Divine Presence, which presents itself as a Creatrix exist too, in such a way that She can communicate with me (and others)? I believe so.  And has this Creatrix taken the form of Kali when she's presented herself to human beings down through the ages? In my case: yes, and it's clear the same is true for others too. So, my own experiences and the evidence of modern science provide, I believe, ample evidence of the likelihood of the reality of survival of the soul and of the existence of other spirit beings: including Kali.

What then does this mean to me (and perhaps to you too)?  I understand that in the Higher Spirit Realms, Love and Goodness, Peace and Harmony, do indeed reign supreme.  I understand too that our loved ones (animals included) continue to exist, albeit in another form, beyond death, in this Otherworld. I also understand that the spirit world is full of Divine Beings of various kinds, working to help the spiritual evolution of the souls who live in this world.  Sadly, there is too a Dark Spirit Realm, in which malice, hatred, deceitfulness and bitterness are the standard. And, it seems, located somewhere in between there is the material realm, of which Earth is a part, which seems to be situated halfway between the two spirit realms, where Good and Evil seem to exist in equal measure and where, I believe a contest, or battle is taking place, in which the forces of Good are slowly, but surely, leading the way forward to the spiritual evolution of our world, which, it's my hope, will reach a time when our world more closely resembles the kind of world that would exist if Love also, truly, reigned Supreme here, as so many people currently suggest (pretend ?) is true.

The power of Kali has woken me up.  I'm no longer content to succumb to the mass hypnosis that sustains a powerful delusion, that's promoted by various dogmas, and is then fed to the masses which only seeks to sustain dogma and, willfully perhaps, blinds society to the truth of the matter.  (Many Christian ministers, for example, are aware of the errors in the Bible, but few, it seems, share their knowledge with their parishoners, much less educate them in this regard.) This world is a mixture of good and evil.  There is a benevolent spirit realm and a malevolent spirit realm.  We have the ability to choose to actively work with the benevolent spirit realm to help in the process of the spiritual evolution of our world, or we can stand idly by, or worse, we can be actively evil, and continue to trap our world in this half-way reality, where evil never fully overwhelms us, but where the all-pervasive presence of Good eludes us too.

So far, no single religion, nor any single modern 'new age' belief system has answered, for me, the serious questions that truly unencumbered, spiritually free people are likely to ask.  Those I have encountered certainly offer insights, valuable concepts, here and there, but ultimately, when followed rigidly, they all, I believe, fall down in one way or another.  Oftentimes the very 'neatly packaged' nature and systematic beliefs which are presented, dovetailed (too) neatly together, break down when tested on the anvil of reality.  Truly Kali has no place for sustaining beliefs which do not stand up in the face of the evidence: no matter how emotionally appealing such beliefs might seem, to those who are content to continue in such group-mind delusions.

At the end of the day, what do I trust?  Evidence!  The evidence of my experiences working with Spirit (backed up by many of my clients over the years) and the evidence of modern science, which in researching psychic ability, mediumship and shamanism has, as a result, generated a significant body of facts in favour of the existence of a spirit realm. I no longer have time for received dogmas or some of the neatly packaged (to appeal to the) mass market (?) 'channelled' teachings that likewise appear to seek to indoctrinate the needy into certain 'fast food'-like beliefs but which are in reality just spiritually 'nutritionally lacking' ways of thinking, and which contain 'doctrines' which when tested bear more resemblance to cult behaviour, than seriously providing solid answers to the 'meaning of life'.

What does Kali teach me?  To ask questions and to test the evidence, and to be honest enough with myself to accept the evidence, whether it reveals what I hope for, or otherwise.  Kali cuts through delusion, to lead onwards to illumination.  Kali came into my life as my world seemingly 'turned upside down'.  It was only when things began to settle that I realised that in actual fact my new perspective was closer to Truth than my original vantage point and that, in reality, this world in which we all live is a 'topsy turvy' place where delusion seeks to get in the way of the truth. I've woken up. I hope you have too.
